Malcolm Vint is the assistant manager at Demelza’s bookshop in Hythe, but started out as a volunteer in one of Demelza’s charity shops. Despite retiring, Malcolm wasn’t ready to put his feet up and has now embarked on a whole new bookselling career.

Hundreds of fundraisers came along to children’s charity Demelza’s first ever Pumpkin Patch event at the weekend.

This year, we held our first ever art trail which saw 10 sculptures, beautifully designed and decorated by local artists, dotted around Tunbridge Wells for people to find and enjoy.
