Bank of England auction off new notes in support of Demelza and other charities

The Bank of England held a fantastic event to auction off notes in support of ten amazing charities, including Demelza!

Demelza’s corporate partners play a vital part in raising awareness and much-needed funding. Care could not be provided to the families who are supported in London, Kent or East Sussex if it was not for their amazing work.

Demelza was delighted to hear that the Bank of England, who have supported Demelza over the last two years, have raised over £900,000 for ten charities. The Bank of England auctioned off a full set of first issues of £5, £10, £20 ad £50 featuring King Charles III, as well as hundreds of other low serial-numbered bank notes and as a result, Demelza will receive over £90,000!

You can read more about the story on the BBC website here.

Thank you to Demelza’s corporate team and the work they do with corporate partners, big and small.
