How to find us

We’ve made it easy to plan your visit. Below you’ll find details on travelling by road, train, and other transport options for each of our hospice locations, along with useful information to make your journey as straightforward as possible.

Directions

Demelza has three locations across the region, each offering care, support, and spaces for families. Select a location below to see full details, including address, directions, and how to plan your visit.

Demelza Kent

Rook Lane, Bobbing, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8DZ.

By car: Demelza Kent is easy to find in its location just outside Sittingbourne, Kent. It is near two main roads – the A249 and the A2.

If you are visiting from the Medway area, you can take the M2 and A249 or follow the A2 towards Sittingbourne.

If you are visiting from the Canterbury area, you can take the M2 and A249 or follow the A2 towards Rainham.

If you are visiting from the Maidstone area, follow the A249 until the Faversham/Sittingbourne A2 exit. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A2 (Keycol Hill).

Once you are on the A2, you will see signs directing you towards Hill Farm View on the right. This is the road you need to turn onto. Follow Hill Farm View until you reach Demelza Kent on your left.

Car parking: There is plenty of parking for families and visitors at Demelza Kent. Please sign in with your car registration number when visiting.

By bus: The closest bus stop is Rook Lane (adj) on Keycol Hill. To plan your journey, we suggest using the Traveline website.

By train: The closest train station is Newington, Sittingbourne, ME9 7JS. Once you have arrived at the station, Demelza is a five minute drive or 25 minute walk.

Demelza South East London

5 Wensley Close, Eltham, London, SE9 5AB.

By car: Demelza South East London is situated close to Eltham High Street.

If you are visiting from Kent, follow the M2 and A2 towards Eltham.

If you are visiting from London, follow the A210 towards Eltham.

From Eltham High Street, turn right at the large crossroads onto Court Road. You should see a blue sign for Wensley Close on the left. This is where you need to turn into. Once you have turned into the close, make your way past the building on your right towards the back of the close, where you will find Demelza South East London.

Car parking: There is limited parking available at Demelza South East London. We advise visitors to contact reception on 020 8859 9800 before arrival to check parking availability. There is a drop-off / pick-up point for families accessing Demelza services.

By bus: The closest bus stop is Eltham Church on Court Road. To plan your journey, we suggest using the Traveline website.

By train: The closest train station is Eltham, London, SE9 6SL. Once you have arrived at the station, Demelza is a five minute drive or 10 minute walk.

Demelza East Sussex

150a Bexhill Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN38 8BL.

By car: Demelza East Sussex is in St Leonards near Hastings just off Bexhill Road (A259).

If you are travelling from the Hastings area, follow the A259 towards Bexhill.

If you are travelling from the Eastbourne area, follow the A259 towards Hastings.

If you are travelling from the Kent area, follow the A229 or A21 towards Hastings until you reach Old Harrow Road / Ashbrook Road. Follow this road until you reach the A259.

Once on the A259 you will find us between Hastings and Bexhill. Look out for the Demelza sign where you will find Demelza East Sussex.

Car parking: There are parking for families and visitors at Demelza East Sussex. Please sign in with your car registration number when visiting.

By bus: The closest bus stop is Judge’s (adj) on Bexhill Road. To plan your journey, we suggest using the Traveline website.

By train: The closest train station is West St Leonards, TN38 0AB. Once you have arrived at the station, Demelza East Sussex is a five minute drive or 15 minute walk.

If you would like to access local taxi services whilst visiting a Demelza site, then please speak to a Demelza colleague in reception who will support you.
