Sally Lindsay, long term supporter of Demelza, is an actor and writer whose diverse career has included roles in The Royle Family, Phoenix Nights, Coronation Street, Wallace and Gromit, Scott and Bailey, Mount Pleasant and Open All Hours, as well as Channel 5 dramas Cold Call and Intruder.
In 2019, Sally took part in Bubble Rush in Eltham, hosted a fundraising lunch at Claridge’s and read at the annual Canterbury Cathedral carol concert.
In 2021, she took a starring role in Demelza’s first ever virtual quiz, hosting a round on children's film and TV shows. She ended the year by winning more than £22,000 for Demelza by appearing in a celebrity edition of BBC’s The Wall.
She is a mum of twin boys and understands the vital importance of the work Demelza undertakes in keeping families together.
